Making It in the Real World: Reality Game of Life and Poverty
Are you intrigued by the idea of exposing the real world of poverty to your students? Immerse them in the experience of Making It in the Real World as they're challenged to discover and make the tough, real-life choices of people living in poverty. This is an excellent activity for the month of October, when many churches focus on Global Hunger Relief.
This experience for students is designed as a life-size gameboard and should take about two hours to complete. It includes:
- Game instructions
- Gameboard layout
- Signage and game pieces
- Family scenario cards
- Debriefing questions
- Resource bibliography
Available as a digital download or CD-ROM.
