Missions Journey: Students – Sanger, California

This month students will learn about Jacob Zailian, a church planter in Sanger, California. Jacob Zailian was incarcerated and sitting in his prison cell when he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. His wife Francine says, “The Holy Spirit found Jacob and transformed the man he was and where he was. God changed my husband’s heart.” He started reading the Bible and then wanted to share the gospel with others. He now leads Set Free Sanger Church where he and Francine seek to reach people in the community from various backgrounds, including those that have ongoing struggles with addiction, rehabilitation, brokenness, and troubling circumstances.
This fully digital resource contains plans for four sessions, including links to the missions videos, missions project ideas, supplemental activities, prayer activities, and a leader devotion.
This material is designed for students in grades 7–12. WMU recommends adult leaders preview all lesson and video content before sharing it with their students.
If you have more than one group, you will need to order one package for every group, up to three groups. To help churches steward their resources, we’ve placed a cap of three on digital orders. So, if you have more than three leaders, you can purchase three packages and share the PDF with each of your leaders.
*When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email that includes a link to download this curriculum directly to your computer.
