Missions Journey: Students – Saint Cloud, Minnesota

Eber and Melisa Argueta are planting a church among the Hispanic community in Minnesota. They strive to get to know their community. They share meals, play soccer, and visit in homes to build relationships. Melisa serves as an interpreter at a pregnancy resource center to help women who don’t speak English. Luke 9:57–62 offers encouragement to the Arguetas as they serve far from where they are originally from in Honduras. The passage is a reminder to them that while serving God is not easy, it is worth it.

This fully digital resource contains plans for four sessions, including links to the missions videos, missions project ideas, supplemental activities, prayer activities, and a leader devotion.

This material is designed for students in grades 7–12. WMU recommends adult leaders preview all lesson and video content before sharing it with their students.
